Global Database

In case that we choose to support multi AZ you can set up the Global Database. you need to define Primary Region and Secondary Region.

Primary Region

It is the region that Aurora DB will has read/write DB.

Secondary Region

It is the region for read Aurora DB.

• Cross-region replication takes less than 1 second
